I'll stamp all over 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
